Very elegant while being comfortable!

This dress is awesome. I decided to wear it to an early evening reception I had to attend. I was not looking forward to the event but this dress is do lovely that slipping it on just put me in an excellent mood. In fact, it was so fun to wear with all that full skirt billowing around my legs and it was such a lovely evening, that I decided to walk the mile to the reception instead of calling an uber. .

It was a great choice. As I was walking down a street, a woman called out “Wow!!! You look so great with your dress and your hair” (my hair is blue, btw). And the strangers walking behind her overheard and said “You look amazing, so perfectly put together!” Nothing like that has happened to me before. For one very brief second everyone on the sidewalk that spring evening in Washington DC was talking about my dress and my matching hair. I felt like a queen! I’d call that a dress success story! A funny one, but definitely a success.

Practical details. I’m 71, 5’6”, 125 lbs. The Small fit beautifully. It fell to just above my ankles and I wore black kitten heels. (I had packed some strappy bronze high heeled sandals as well and they looked really terrific but I knew I’d never walk a mile in them.) The belt didn’t work for me — it wasn’t comfortable to wear it so high waisted and that’s not a flattering look on me so I just skipped it.

The quality of the workmanship on the dress is really fine. So impressive. The mesh fabric is fun to wear. The shipping on this particular dress was almost instant — just three days and it came from China. I had some fitting and shipping issues with a couple of other dresses I ordered but it looks like returns will be a breeze and customer service is just a treat. Shout out to Sophie for all her help! I’ll definitely order from the company again.

I purchased this dress for my 50th Wedding Anniversary. It is perfect in every way. The fit, the fabric and the style. Not to mention great pricing. I can’t wait to wear it. My kids gave me a thumbs up on this one!

Very flattering, yet comfortable. Everything I am looking for in a dress.

It's absolutely beautiful and fits so nicely. So excited to wear it to my granddaughters wedding in a few months. That fabric just flows...so soft and elegant!
